ANNE SOFIEMADSEN

A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and trained under John Galliano in Paris and then Alexander McQueen in London, Anne Sofie Madsen founded her eponymous label in 2011. Her universe explores the boundary between clothing and art, where the body becomes the medium for a narrative between fantasy and reality. After regularly appearing on the Official Paris Fashion Week® Calendar from 2014 to 2017, the designer chose to reinvent her approach. Her work is distinguished by a striking play of contrasts: the delicacy of noble materials meets graphic and protective structures. Through upcycling and artisanal techniques, Anne Sofie Madsen celebrates a modern and bold femininity, infusing a touch of poetry into the contemporary wardrobe.
