LAD/

Ladislas Mandes is a designer working between Paris, Congo, and the United States, whose practice explores cultural dialogue and contemporary tailoring. Through LAD/, which he founded in 2025, he develops a menswear wardrobe where identity, fluidity, and structure converge. Created under the creative direction of Sam Lambert and Shaka Maidoh, co-founders of Art Comes First and both trained on Savile Row, the brand combines artisanal precision with a contemporary narrative approach. LAD/ expands its universe into accessories and footwear, exploring cultural hybridity as a foundation of modern luxury and developing garments that merge heritage, identity, and contemporary expression.
