For Barbara Bui, clothing entered her life as part of a personal adventure. In the 1980s, fashion became the means of expression she was looking for. Very quickly, she was holding fashion shows and imposing her own style, i.e. a mix of masculine and feminine, sharp lines, very «sharp and cut» volumes or, on the contrary, deliberately oversized ones. Her look, a blend of rock culture and naturalness, is immediately recognizable.
