To unveil Olivier Theyskens’ very first creations for Azzaro, the House revealed its first Couture pieces in July in a magnetic teaser and is now poised to lift the veil on the feminine and masculine Ready-to-Wear. The Designer infuses his singular approach into a collection inspired by the carefree heritage of the 70’s, true to the House and particularly relevant today.
« I wanted for my first ready-to-wear co-ed collection for Azzaro to ignite the Azzaro vestiaire with a sense of escapism, of comfort, blending self-indulgence with fullness, movement with easiness. The idea is to focus on essentials, timeless pieces with sophisticated finishes, transposing the unapologetic free spirit of the 70’s into our hectic world.”
Olivier Theyskens plays with the savoir-faire of the House, with the apparent simplicity of the cuts, the freedom of movement and the light sparkles, in a contemporary and festive sophistication.
