Fashion 5.0 : The Emerging Futures of Luxury Fashion

On March 12, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode was a partner in a high-level conference hosted by the ReTech Center of the École des Ponts Business School, as part of the launch of the « Fashion 5.0 : The Emerging Futures of Luxury Fashion».

At the invitation of Simone Cipriani, Dean of the Milano Fashion Institute and Senior Research Fellow at ReTech Center, Pascal Morand, FHCM’s Executive President spoke on these subjects alongside Carlo Capasa, President of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (The National Chamber for Italian Fashion) and of Milano Fashion Week, Suzy Menkes, and Professor and Vice-Dean of the École des Ponts Business School, Dr. Saman Sarbazvatan.
Artificial intelligence was at the heart of the discussions, with a particular focus on the link between know-how and automation, as well as the place of human creativity, ethics and sensibility within these new paradigms.
Creativity and savoir-faire are in themselves acts of durability. Thus, the transition to a regenerative industry was also addressed, both in its regulatory aspects, through the anticipation, among others, of the hashtag #Digital Passport Product, and in its technical aspects, for implementation within the Houses, while recalling the main challenge for this transition: the control of volumes.
