Fashion Matters: Body Positive

Fashion imposes standards and constraints on our bodies. The emergence of the “body-positive” movement, i.e. the acceptance and valorisation of all bodies, provokes a questioning of body standards. How can we think of a fashion in which there are no longer any standards of beauty? Can bodily diversity go hand in hand with creative innovation? Is the positive body a revolution or a mere fashion effect?
