What inspired this collection?
I wanted to revisit the brand's original inspirations: jeans, workwear and a sensual take on this wardrobe. I was inspired by the way traditional workwear pieces are assembled, the economy of detail, sturdy rivets, straps and raw materials.
What is your vision of urban fashion? Raw denim? Contemporary workwear?
I like the idea that a garment accompanies someone throughout the day, at work, during dinner, and at a party. It needs to be robust, elegant, and guaranteed to develop character over time. That's what I love about raw denim. The appeal of this wardrobe is also that it is typically masculine, but can be worn and appreciated in a non-gendered way.
What has changed for you in 2025?
What we thought was a temporary situation has become the new reality. The market is tense; the global political climate is increasingly complex; choices are endless and customers are rightly demanding. More than ever, we need to offer the most unique product possible at the best price and connect directly with customers who are sensitive to our universe and our message. 2025 has been a year of reflection and research, which has been very fruitful for the future.
Who are your mentors/the people you admire most in fashion and elsewhere?
Helmut Lang, for his uncompromising, rigorous and sensual vision of urban fashion, but also for his independence. His vision continues to inspire the entire fashion world more than 20 years after his last collection, and I admire the elegance of his career.
A book on your bedside table?
Kinsey 6, Journal des années 80 by Didier Lestrade. It's an account of queer Paris in the 1980s, a world that has almost disappeared since then, with only a few places still remaining.
Your favourite spot in Paris?
Next to our studio, down Rue de Belleville. It's the street where I grew up, and the view of the Eiffel Tower standing out against the skyline is still the most beautiful view of Paris in my eyes.
What are your dreams?
That the world will see reason again. That the values we hold dear will still be heard. But can we still dream in 2026?
What is your goal?
To open a permanent store in Paris. To keep organising events to bring our community together and unite people around Ouest Paris, both in France and abroad.
