We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Giorgio Armani, a towering figure in the fashion world.

His creative, artistic and cultural legacy is exceptional.

His style quickly established itself and endured, spreading throughout society and inspiring a large number of young designers.

His immense talent embodied Milan and Italian fashion. He also had a significant impact on Paris and contributed to its influence since his arrival at Haute Couture Week in 2005.

Beyond fashion, Giorgio Armani also maintained a constant and intense dialogue with the arts and artists over the years, from cinema to opera, from visual arts to design, while linking fashion and sport.

Through his constant high standards, his commitment and values, and the depth of his work, Giorgio Armani has now earned his place in the universal history of Italian, French and global culture.
